CREATING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN LANDS OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY AYALA, CITY OF ZAMBOANGA, ISLAND OF MINDANAO AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916
Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916 (The Special Economic Zone Act of 1995), I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution Nos. 96-186 and 96-187 dated June 5, 1996, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located in Barangay Ayala, City of Zamboanga, as the AYALA DE ZAMBOANGA INDUSTRIAL PARK – ECOZONE consisting of Fifty (50) hectares, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
A parcel of land (Lot 3-A) of the subdivision plan Psd-09-018224, being a portion of Lot 3, Pos-09-001049, situated in the Barangay of Ayala, City of Zamboanga, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the SE., line 20-21 by Lot 355; line 21-22 by Lot 350, both of Cad. 16, Zamboanga Cadastre; on lines 22-24 by Lot 3-B of the subd. plan; 24-1 by Lot 361; on the SW., lines 1-5 by Lot 1, Pos-09-001049; line 5-6 by Lot 1, Pos-09-001049; on the NW., lines 6-9 by Lot 489; on lines 9-13 by Lot 2; on the NE., line 13-14 by property of Narcisa dela Cruz; on line 14-15 by property of Casiano Bernardo; line 15-16 by Lot 486-A; lines 16-18 by Lot 485; line 18-19 by Lot 484; line 19-20 by Lot 454, all of Cad. 16, Zamboanga Cadastre. The PEZA Board of Directors is hereby authorized to amend the size of the area covered by this Proclamation, provided that in case of expansion, said expansion area must be contiguous or adjacent to the herewith proclaimed area and all requirements under R.A. 7916 and the Rules and Regulations Implementing said Act are complied with.
