RESERVING FOR THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAASIM, PROVINCE OF SARANGANI, CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, SITUATED IN THE SITIO OF TAHAKAYO, BARANGAY AMSIPIT, SITIO ASNALAF, BARANGAY LUMASAL, SITIOS KALON BONG, DATAL FOFO AND DATAL LANAO, BARANGAY NOMOH AND SITIO DATAL BASAK, BARANGAY KABLACAN, ALL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAASIM, PROVINCE OF SARANGANI.

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, entry or disposition and set aside for permanent reservation and other related purposes for the Indigenous Peoples, (Blaan and Tboli Communities) subject to prior private rights and/or tenurial rights, if there be any, and subject to future survey, the parcel of land of the public domain located within the Sitios of Tahakayo, Asnalaf, Kalon Bong, Datal Fofo, Datal Lanao and Datal Basak, Barangays of Amsipit, Lumasal, Nomoh and Kablacan, respectively, Municipality of Maasim, Province of Sarangani, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point marked “1” on the Map being identical to Junction of Kamanga River and Unknown Creek, the following Kamanga River in the Northwesterly direction about 7,720 meters straight distance to point 2 thence;

N. 03° 00" E., 900 meters to point 3;

N. 69° 00" W., 2,260 meters to point 4;

N. 48° 00" W., 1,310 meters to point 5;

N. 80° 00" W., 2,800 meters to point 6;

N. 66° 00" W., 1,180 meters to point 7;

N. 35° 00" W., 3,640 meters to point 8;

Due North, 1,700 meters to point 9;

Due West, 3,000 meters to point 10;

Due North, 3,000 meters to point 11;

Due East, 11,150 meters to point 12;

thence following Unknown Creek and Siguel River in a Southeasterly, Southwesterly direction about 6,000 meters straight distance to point 13;

Thence following Amsipit Creek in a Southwesterly direction about 2,500 meters straight distance to point 14 thence:

S. 30° 00" E., 700 meters to point 15;

N. 77° 00" E., 800 meters to point 16;

S. 67° 00" E., 400 meters to point 17;

N. 41° 00" E., 2,000 meters to point 18;

S. 24° 00" E., 600 meters to point 19;

S. 21° 00" W., 1,600 meters to point 20;

S. 48° 00" W., 1,060 meters to point 21;

S. 24° 00" E., 1,340 meters to point 22;

N. 33° 00" E., 1,740 meters to point 23;

thence following Unknown Creek in a Southeasterly direction about 6,500 m. straight distance to point 1, the point of beginning, containing an area of TEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE (10,175) HECTARES, more or less.1aшphi1

The area shall be sustainably managed and developed by the said communities in accordance with their indigenous knowledge, systems and practices with assistance from the Departments of Environment and Natural Resources, Agrarian Reform, Agriculture, Trade and Industry, Public Works and Highways, Office for Southern Cultural Communities and other concerned agencies.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
