DECLARING THURSDAY, MAY 22, 1997, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF GUIMARAS

WHEREAS, Thursday, May 22, 1997, marks the 5th Foundation Anniversary of the Province of Guimaras;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of the Province of Guimaras be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, May 22, 1997, as a special day in the Province of Guimaras.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
