AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 919, DATED NOVEMBER 12, 1996 DECLARING THE PERIOD 22 TO 23 AND 25 TO 26 AS SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAYS IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION AND OLONGAPO CITY

WHEREAS, the period 22 to 23 and 25 to 26 of November 1996 have been declared special non-working holidays in the National Capital Region and Olongapo City to ensure free and unhampered traffic during the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings in the said areas;

WHEREAS, certain industries have been excepted from the application of Proclamation No. 919 due to their critical social, economic and business contributions.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 919, dated November 12, 1996, by including in the exceptions thereof the following:

a. The Philippine Stock Exchange; and

b. Hospitals;

DONE in the City of Manila, this 20th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Six.
