DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 1996, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE

WHEREAS, the anniversary of the “Battle of Binakayan”, an important event in our struggle for freedom, falls on November 11, 1996;

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Cavite should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, November 11, 1996, as a special day in the Province of Cavite, in commemoration with the anniversary of the “Battle of Binakayan”.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
