DECLARING WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1996 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF TARLAC

WHEREAS, Wednesday, November 27, 1996, marks the birth anniversary of the late Benigno S. Aquino Jr.;

WHEREAS, in the hearts and minds of all freedom-loving Filipinos, Benigno S. Aquino Jr., is a hero and martyr whose principled stand for democracy and his ultimate sacrifice is considered a fitting model of patriotic service;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the Province of Tarlac be given the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, November 27, 1996 as a special day in the Province of Tarlac.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
