DECLARING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1996 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF ORMOC

WHEREAS, every year the City of Ormoc dedicates November 5 for the souls of our brothers and sisters who perished in the flash floods caused by Typhoon “Uring” in 1991;

WHEREAS, this year, in commemoration of that disastrous event, a Holy Mass at the site of the Mass grave and tree planting activities will be held at several places in Ormoc to be participated in by all sectors of Ormoc society;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, November 5, 1996 as a special day in Ormoc City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
