DECLARING OCTOBER 1996 AS HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT MONTH

WHEREAS, the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) will celebrate its 40th anniversary as the premiere professional organization geared towards Human Resource Management (HRM) and Development;

WHEREAS, PMAP is scheduled to host the Third ASEAN HRM Federation Conference in October 1996 to discuss the latest issues and trends in the local, regional and global HRM profession;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the significance of the occasion and on resources management as a tool to harness the quality and productivity potential in the Filipino as we near our goal of Philippines 2000;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of October 1996 as “Human Resource Management Month” under the auspices of the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines.1aшphi1
