[ Proclamation No. 893, October 1, 1996 ]

AUTHORIZING THE FILIPINO WAR VETERANS FOUNDATION (FILVETS), INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS under Proclamation No. 610, dated June 23, 1995, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from June 23 1995 to June 23, 1996;

WHEREAS, the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Filipino War Veterans Foundation (FILVETS), Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
