DECLARING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 1996 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF QUINAPONDAN, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR

WHEREAS, Thursday, October 17, 1996, marks the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Municipality of Quinapondan, Province of Eastern Samar;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the Municipality of Quinapondan be given the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, October 17, 1996 as a special day in the Municipality of Quinapondan, Province of Eastern Samar.1aшphi1
