DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 1996 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE, PROVINCE OF CEBU

WHEREAS, Friday, August 30, 1996, marks the 27th Charter Day of the City of Mandaue, Province of Cebu;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue, Province of Cebu be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Friday, August 30, 1996 as a special day in the City of Mandaue, Province of Cebu.
