DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 23, 1996, A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TANAUAN, BATANGAS

WHEREAS, Tuesday, July 23, 1996, marks the 132nd Birth Anniversary of Apolinario Mabini, (1864-1903), “Sublime Paralytic”, “Brains of the Revolution”, and National Hero;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Tanauan, his birthplace, should at least be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 23, 1996, as a special day in the Municipality of Tanauan, Batangas.1aшphi1
