DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 11, 1996 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VALENZUELA, METRO MANILA

WHEREAS, Thursday, JuLY 11, 1996, marks the 36th Charter Anniversary of the Municipality of Valenzuela, Metro Manila;

WHEREAS, the said day is also the 127th birth anniversary of the Municipalitys most illustrious son, the late Dr. Pio Valenzuela;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Valenzuela, Metro Manila be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, July 11, 1996 as a special day in the Municipality of Valenzuela, Metro Manila.1aшphi1
