DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 1996, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NORTHERN SAMAR

WHEREAS, Wednesday, June 19, 1996, marks the foundation anniversary of the Province of Northern Samar;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Northern Samar be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 19, 1996, as a special day in the Province of Northern Samar.
