[ Proclamation No. 654, September 29, 1995 ]

AUTHORIZING THE FEDERATION OF SENIOR CITIZENS ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines, Inc., in consonance with the governments call for greater efforts in improving the situation of the poor and disadvantaged has accelerated its programs to fully reach the senior citizens;

WHEREAS, projects and activities of the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines, Inc., cannot be fully undertaken without the support of the various sectors of society;

WHEREAS, to enable the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines, Inc. to generate the much needed resource to continue its projects and activities for the needy senior citizens, a nationwide membership and fund campaign is necessary;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.1aшphi1
