DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 18 TO 24, 1995, AS “PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-stock organization established and committed to promote industrial development through better and efficient management of the production system;

WHEREAS, PROMAP will be holding the 8th National Convention on September 21 to 23, 1995, in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City with the theme: “GLOBAL COMPETITION: THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE TO MANUFACTURING”;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executives play in the development of our economy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 18 to 24, 1995, as “Production Management Week”.
