ESTABLISHING AS KORONADAL WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE FOR PURPOSES OF PROTECTING, MAINTAINING, AND IMPROVING ITS WATER YIELD AND TO PROVIDE RESTRAINING MECHANISM FOR INAPPROPRIATE FOREST EXPLOITATION AND DISRUPTIVE LAND-USE, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KORONADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, PHILIPPINES

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition, or settlement and set aside as Koronadal Watershed Forest Reserve, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to the operations of previous proclamations reserving any portion thereof for specific purposes, and to the implementation of other forestry development programs consistent with the objectives of the proclamation, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Municipality of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato a shown in the attached proposed Koronadal Watershed Forest Reserve Map with the following descriptions:

The Department of Environment and Natural resources, thru the Forest Management Bureau, shall administer and manage the reservation in coordination with other concerned agencies of the government with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a watershed forest reserve and source of water for domestic and industrial purposes.

The management, development, and protection of the watershed forest reserve shall be supported by a Watershed Management Council, which shall be created upon the approval of this proclamation.1aшphi1 The Watershed Management Council shall be composed of all concerned government agencies/instrumentalities, including Non-Government Organizations within the locality.
