DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 6 TO 12, 1994, AS “CIVIL ENGINEERING WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE), is an association of Civil Engineers, both in the government and private sector, duly accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) will hold its National Convention and Annual Election on November 10 to 12, 1994, in Manila;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus publication attention on the importance of the Civil Engineering profession and its role in the nation-building;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 6 to 12, 1994, as “Civil Engineering Week” under the auspices of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE).

I call upon all civil engineers, educators and students to give the observance of the week their full support.ℒαwρhi৷
