DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 3 TO 9, 1994 AS MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER WEEK

WHEREAS, the Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., will be celebrating the 25th year of M.E. apostolate in the Philippines on October 1994;

WHEREAS, the celebration of this event, which coincides with the International Year of the Family, will be participated in by membership of approximately 80,000 couples and their families from all over the country;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting that such vital objective as family unity in the life and well-being of the nation be duly brought to the attention of our people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from October 3 to 9, 1994, as Marriage Encounter Week.ℒαwρhi৷
