DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 5 TO 11, 1994, AS “PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-stock organization established and committed to promote industrial development through better and efficient management of the production system;

WHEREAS, PROMAP will hold its 1994 Production Management Convention on September 8 and 9, 1994, in Cebu with the theme: “MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF GLOBALIZATION”;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executive play in the development of our economy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 5 to 11, 1994, as “Production Management Week”.1aшphi1
