DECLARING AS CAMPSITE CIVIL RESERVATION OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES, EASTERN SAMAR COUNCIL, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SALCEDO, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare as Civil Reservation for Campsite of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Eastern Samar Council, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Municipality of Salcedo, Province of Eastern Samar, containing an area of approximately 98.00 hectares, as shown and described in C.R. Map No. 387, which is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point Corner “1”, which is identical to Corner No. 92 of Block I, Project No. 25-A, Alienable or Disposable, per LC-3161:

Thence N. 75º W., 100 meters to corner 3;

Thence S. 69º W., 310 meters to corner 4;

Thence N. 45º W., 140 meters to corner 5;

Thence N. 15º W., 280 meters to corner 6;

Thence N. 30º E., 350 meters to corner 7;

Thence N. 65º E., 70 meters to corner 8;

Thence DUE NORTH, 400 meters to corner 9;

Thence N. 53º E., 250 meters to corner 10;

Thence N. 67º E., 310 meters to corner 1;

Thence S. 35º E., 210 meters to corner 12;

Thence N. 53º E., 250 meters to corner 13;

Thence S. 61º E., 120 meters to corner 14;

1. The administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be under the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. For this purpose, a five-year development plan shall be submitted to the office of the President of the Philippines by the Secretary General, BSP, within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Forest Management Bureau with copies thereof.

2. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations; and

3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked, or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status as part and parcel of the forest land.1aшphi1
