DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 23 TO 29, 1994, AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS “FEDERATION OF FILIPINO-CHINESE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc., will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary on March 20, 1994, a milestone in its years of service to our country and people;

WHEREAS, in view of the undying effort of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce to support the policies, projects, and program of the Government and its abiding concern for the welfare of the Filipino community, it is but fitting that it should be given a period within which to focus public attention to the role being played by the federation in national development;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from March 23 to 29, 1994, and every year thereafter as the “Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Week.”
