AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 308, DATED DECEMBER 9, 1993, ENTITLED “DECLARING 3 MARCH 1994 AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE”

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 308, dated December 9, 1993, declared Thursday, March 3, 1994, as a special day in the Province of Camarines Norte in commemoration of the provinces 75th founding anniversary;

WHEREAS, the Chairman and Executive Director of The National Historical Institute attests that the foundation date of the Province of Camarines Norte is April 15, 1920;

WHEREAS, April 15, 1920, marked the implementation of Orden Ejecutiva Num 22 when the territory and its government officials were formally defined and presented;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 308, dated December 9, 1993, by transferring the celebration of the foundation anniversary of the Province of Camarines Norte from March 3, 1994 to April 15, 1994, which shall be its 74th Foundation Anniversary, and not 75th as earlier proclaimed, on the basis of Orden Ejecutiva Num 22 and the decision of the Regional Trial Court of Camarines Norte in Civil Case No. 6222 (Flores vs. Camarines Norte).1aшphi1
