AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 453, DATED DECEMBER 17, 1953, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE CAMP AMAI PAKPAK (FORMERLY CAMP KEITHLEY) MILITARY RESERVATION SITUATED IN THE CITY OF MARAWI, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, BY EXCLUDING THEREFROM A PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME AS THE SITE OF THE LANAO PEOPLES PARK AND PUBLIC LIBRARY
Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 453, dated December 17, 1953, which established the Camp Amai Pakpak (formerly Camp Keithley) Military Reservation situated in the City of Marawi, Province of Lanao del Sur, Island of Mindanao, by excluding a portion of the land embraced therein containing an area of THIRTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN (30,697) SQUARE METERS and reserving the same as the site of the Lanao Peoples Park and Public Library under the administrative jurisdiction of the Lanao Park and Library Foundation in cooperation with the Maranao Heritage Foundation, which parcel is more particularly described as follows, to wit:
A PARCEL OF LAND, bounded on the NW., and SW., along line 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and 10-11-12 by two National Highways; on the NE., along line 7-8-9 by National Power Corporation; and on the S.E., along line 9-10 by Marawi City National High School. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being N. 87º 05" W., 1,208.32 m. from BLLM No. 1, Q-124, Dansalan Cadastre. Thence . . . . . .
