DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 19 TO 25, 1992, AS EMERGENCY MEDICINE WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine College of Emergency Medicine and Acute Care, Inc., the only specialty organization in Emergency Medicine recognized by the Philippine Medical Association, will formally launch “Emergency Medicine Week” from April 19 to 25, 1992, with the theme, “Emergency Medicine: Attaining New Heights;”

WHEREAS, it is desirable that public attention be drawn to the importance of a nationwide emergency medical service system in saving lives and preventing the loss of bodily functions, especially among the critically ill and injured;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from April 19 to 25, 1992 as Emergency Medicine Week.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
