ESTABLISHING AS JICONTOL WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF DOLORES AND CAN-AVID, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR, ISLAND OF SAMAR

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, and disposition or settlement and set aside for watershed and other ecological enhancement purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Municipalities of Dolores and Can-avid, Province of Eastern Samar, Philippines, which is more particularly described as follows, to wit:

A PARCEL OF LAND, beginning at a point marked “1” of the Jicontol Watershed Reservation area, a point on the ground which is a corner boundary between timberland and alienable or disposable land at Latitude 12° 03? 10.35? and Longitude 125° 15? 07.85? and being S. 68 35" E., 15,720.00 meters from BLLM No. 1, Dolores Cadastre.ℒαwρhi৷ Thence . . . . .

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources through the Forest Management Bureau shall administer and manage the reservation in coordination with other agencies of the government with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for domestic use, agriculture and other forest purposes.
