RESERVING FOR RESETTLEMENT SITE AND LIVELIHOOD PURPOSES OF THE MOUNT PINATUBO VICTIMS A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE FORMER CLARK AIR BASE MILITARY RESERVATION SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAPAS, PROVINCE OF TARLAC, ISLAND OF LUZON
In consideration of the urgent need to assist the families affected by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo by providing them with suitable resettlement and livelihood areas conducive to their economic recovery, and upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and the Presidential Task Force created under Memorandum Order No 369, dated June 26, 1991, and by the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve for resettlement and livelihood purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future classification and survey, a parcel of land segregated from the site occupied by the former Clark Air Base Military Reservation situated in the Municipality of Capas, Province of Tarlac, Island of Luzon, and which is more particularly described, to writ:
A PARCEL OF LAND (being a portion of the Zone “B” Clark Air Base Military Reservation, as shown in the attached sketch plan) situated in Barangay Calangitan, Municipality of Capas, Province of Tarlac, Island of Luzon. The lots within this Proclamation shall be disposed of through stewardship contract under the Integrated Social Forestry Program, since the area is still classified as forest zone, subject to appropriate modes of disposition under the Public Land Law, as amended, should there be a reclassification later.1aшphi1
Presidential Proclamation No. 812, dated October 11, 1991, is hereby revoked due to the inclusion of the parcel of land subject thereof in the coverage of this Proclamation.
