[ Proclamation No. 78, October 22, 1992 ]

AUTHORIZING THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, on October 22, 1992, the National Press Club of the Philippines will observe the 40th anniversary of the signing of its articles of incorporation;

WHEREAS, the National Press Club of the Philippines as the sponsoring organization for the years celebration deserves the wholehearted support of all segments of the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the National Press Club of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year, effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, and gifts received by the National Press Club of the Philippines for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
