DECLARING AS NAVAL RESERVATION FOR THE PHILIPPINE NAVY, CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARANGAYS OF SAWANG AND ZALDIVAR, MUNICIPALITY OF BUENAVISTA, PROVINCE OF GUIMARAS
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare as Naval Reservation for the Philippine Navy, certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Barangay of Sawang and Zaldivar, Municipality of Buenavista, Province of Guimaras, containing an area of approximately 42.77 hectares, as shown and described in N.R. Map No. 1, which is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning from Corner 1, which is identical to F2 Corner No. 6 of the Buenavista Project No. 38, Alienable or Disposable Block II, 2C-3469, dated December 22, 1987, N. 31° 00W. 52.00 meters to Corner 2.

1. The administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be made under the Department of National Defense. For this purpose, a five-year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President of the Philippines by the Commander Philippine Navy Headquarters Naval District V, Cebu City, within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Forest Management Bureau copies thereof;
2. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations; and
3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status part and parcel of the forest land.
