[ Proclamation No. 48, September 16, 1992 ]

AUTHORIZING THE LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FROM SEPTEMBER 15, 1992 TO SEPTEMBER 14, 1993

WHEREAS, the Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., was authorized under Proclamation No. 475, dated October 3, 1989, to conduct a national fund campaign for the period from August 1, 1989 to February 28, 1990;

WHEREAS, in order to effectively carry out its noble objectives the Foundation needs the financial and moral support of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign from September 15, 1992 to September 14, 1993.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests and gifts received by the Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
