AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO 1933 DATED DECEMBER 19, 1979 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE BAGONG LIPUNAN IMPROVEMENT OF SITES AND SERVICE (BLISS) RESERVATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CASTILLEJOS, PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES, BY SEGREGATING THEREFROM A PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR RESETTLEMENT SITE PURPOSES OF THE MOUNT PINATUBO VICTIMS

In consideration of the urgent need to assist the families affected by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo by providing them with suitable resettlement areas and livelihood opportunities conducive to their economic recovery and upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and the Presidential Task Force created under Memorandum Order No. 369 dated June 26, 1991, and by the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 1933 dated December 19, 1979, which established the Bagong Lipunan Improvement of Sites and Services (BLISS) in Castillejos, Zambales, by excluding therefrom a portion of the land embraced therein and reserve the same for resettlement and livelihood purposes of the Mt. Pinatubo Victims subject to private rights, if any there be, situated in the Municipality of Castillejos, Province of Zambales, Island of Luzon, and more particularly described as follows, to wit:

The Presidential Task Force created under Memorandum Order No. 369 dated June 26, 1991 is empowered to issue implementing guidelines in accordance with the purposes of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

The lots covered by this Proclamation which are classified as forest land shall be disposed of through stewardship contract under the Integrated Social Forestry Program, subject to appropriate modes of disposition under the Public Land Act, as amended, should there be a reclassification later; and those which are classified as alienable and disposable land shall be disposed land shall be disposed of through miscellaneous sales patent under the Public Land Act, as amended.
