[ Proclamation No. 22, August 24, 1992 ]

AUTHORIZING THE HEART FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR ANOTHER YEAR, FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 1992 TO AUGUST 31, 1993

WHEREAS, the Heart Foundation of the Philippines was authorized under Proclamation No. 794 dated March 19, 1991 to conduct a national fund campaign from March 19, 1991 to March 19, 1992;

WHEREAS, the humanitarian campaign of the Heart Foundation of the Philippines merits continued support to enable the Foundation to service a greater number of the poor and under privileged who are suffering from heart disease and related ailments;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Heart Foundation of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign for another year, from September 1, 1992 to August 31, 1993.1aшphi1

For this purpose, all donations, bequests and gifts received by the Heart Foundation of the Philippines for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemption and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
