DECLARING A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN THE PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE

I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare, upon the recommendation of the Chairman, National Disaster Coordinating Council, a state of public calamity in the Province of Davao del Norte, which has been severely affected by torrential rains and heavy flooding. I also hereby authorize the release of Three Million Pesos (P3,000,000) in calamity funds to the Province of Davao del Norte to support the on-going disaster operations being undertaken by the Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council.1aшphi1
