ESTABLISHING AS HINABIAN-LAWIGAN WATERSHED RESERVATION A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF LIBAGON, ST. BERNARD, HINUNANGAN AND SILAGO, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE, PHILIPPINES

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and set aside for watershed and other ecological enhancement purposes, subject to private rights, if there be any, the parcel of land of the public domain located in the Municipalities of Libangon, St. Bernard, Hinunangan and Silago, Province of Southern Leyte, Philippines, more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at Point “1” of the Hinabian Watershed Reservation area, a point on the ground which is a corner boundary between permanent forest and alienable or disposable land at latitude 10° 2131.78? and longitude 125° 0615.41? and being N 33° 44 W 532.10 m. from BLLM No. 3, pls-871-D of St. Bernard public land subdivision to corner 1.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources thru the Forest Management Bureau shall administer and manage the reservation in coordination with other agencies of the government with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for domestic use, hydroelectric power, agriculture and other forest purposes.1aшphi1
