MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 106, December 10, 1992 ] EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 1615 DATED 04 FEBRUARY 1977 WHICH ESTABLISHES THE BAUXITE MINERAL RESERVATION, A CERTAIN AREA EMBRACED THEREIN AND DECLARING THE SAME AS BULOSAO WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE FOR PURPOSES OF PROTECTING, MAINTAINING OR IMPROVING THE WATER YIELD AND PROVIDE RESTRAINING MECHANISM FOR INAPPROPRIATE FOREST EXPLOITATION AND DISRUPTIVE LAND USE, A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WHICH PARTIALLY EMBRACED THE BAUXITE MINERAL RESERVATION UNDER PROCLAMATION NO. 1615 Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition and settlement and set aside as Bulosao Watershed Forest Reserve, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to the operation of previous proclamation reserving any portion thereof for specific purposes and to the implementation of socially-oriented projects and other forestry development programs consistent with the objectives of the proclamation as may be determined by the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, a parcel of land of the public domain which also embraced the Bauxite Mining Reservation under Proclamation No. 1615, dated February 4, 1977, which is hereby amended, situated in the Municipalities of Lawa-an and Marabut, Provinces of Eastern Samar and Western Samar, Philippines as shown and described in the Forest Management Bureau Map No. WR-90 with the following description: Beginning of point “1” on the map is a point on the ground 50 meters from the side of the river at Latitude 110940” and longitude 125° 1550” and being identical to corner 88 of A & D Block 1 Project No. 3; The area covered by the proclamation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision and control of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources through the Forest Management Bureau in coordination with other agencies of the government with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for domestic, and irrigation and other forestry purposes.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
