[ Proclamation No. 845, December 12, 1991 ]

CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a special session from December 16 to 20, 1991 to consider the following measures:

(a) the bill providing for a Land Base Conversion Authority;

(b) the bill extending the life of the Asset Privatization Trust (APT) and the Committee on Privatization (COP);

(c) the bill on the refinements of the Value Added Tax (VAT);

(d) the bill providing for consumer protection;

(e) the bill restructuring the transfer taxes;

(f) the bill providing for a final tax on compensation income;

(g) the bill on the large taxpayers unit in the BIR; and

such other necessary bills of general application.
