RESERVING FOR RESETTLEMENT SITE PURPOSES OF THE MOUNT PINATUBO VICTIMS A CERTAIN PORTION OF CLARK AIR BASE MILITARY RESERVATION LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAPAS, PROVINCE OF TARLAC

In consideration of the urgent need to assist the families affected by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo by providing them with suitable resettlement areas and livelihood opportunities conducive to their economic recovery and upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and the Presidential Task Force created under Memorandum Order No. 369 dated June 26, 1991, and by the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve for resettlement and livelihood purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future classification and survey, a parcel of land segregated from the site occupied by the Clark Air Base Military Reservation situated in the Municipality of Capas, Province of Tarlac, Island of Luzon which is more particularly described, to wit:

A PARCEL OF LAND (being a portion of Zone “B” of the Clark Air Base Military Reservation as shown on the attached sketch plan) located at Barangay Aranguren, Capas, Tarlac, bounded on the East along lines 1-2, by lot 1904, line 2-3 by lot 1903, both of Capas Cadastre; on the South along lines 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10, 10-11 and 11-12 by the Provincial Road to ODonnell and beyond by the portion of the reservation; on the West and North along lines 12-13 and 13-14 by the portion of the reservation; and on the East by lot 1706 of Capas Cadastre. Beginning at a point marked “1” on the sketch plan being identical to BBM No. 48 of Capas Cadastre;

thence S. 00 deg. 26" E., 448.90 m. to point 2;

thence S. 03 deg. 49" E., 364.88 m. to point 3;

thence S. 80 deg. 08" W., 156.54 m. to point 4;

thence S. 74 deg. 50" W., 145.10 m. to point 5;

thence S. 60 deg. 55" W., 283.16 m. to point 6;

thence S. 72 deg. 54" W., 210.38 m. to point 7;

thence N. 89 deg. 25" W., 963.08 m. to point 8;

thence N. 80 deg. 36" W., 205.72 m. to point 9;

thence N. 67 deg. 23" W., 152.21 m. to point 10;

thence N. 45 deg. 44" W., 146.23 m. to point 11;

thence N. 22 deg. 17" W., 128.35 m. to point 12;

thence N. 04 deg. 36" E., 1088.96 m. to point 13;

thence N. 73 deg. 25" E., 2084.12 m. to point 14;

thence S. 05 deg. 34" E., 930.24 m. to point of

beginning, containing an area of THREE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY TWO (3,482,732) SQUARE METERS, more or less.

The Presidential Task Force created under Memorandum Order No. 369 dated June 26, 1991 is empowered to issue implementing guidelines in accordance with the purposes of this Proclamation.ℒαwρhi৷
