RESERVING FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF THE TABANGO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TABANGO, PROVINCE OF LEYTE

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school site purposes of the Tabango Vocational School under the administration of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain located in the Municipality of Tabango, Province of Leyte, containing an area of Ninety Eight Thousand One Hundred Eighteen (98,118) Square Meters as shown and described in the attached Map C.R.-225, which is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at point corner “1” which is located at Latitude 11 degrees 18? 07.76? and Longitude 124 degrees 22? 44.74?;

thence N 53° 45" E, 265.08 m. to corner 2;

thence S 75° 24" E, 323.91 m. to corner 3;

thence S 19° 22" E, 83.38 m. to corner 4;

thence S 13° 11" E, 35.67 m. to corner 5;

thence S 71° 32" W, 68.20 m. to corner 6;

thence S 86° 04" W, 132.87 m. to corner 7;

thence N 75° 44" W, 131.18 m. to corner 8;

thence N 78° 04" W, 96.51 m. to corner 9;

thence S 60° 12" W, 117.60 m. to corner 10;

thence S 12° 24" W, 75.32 m. to corner 11;

thence S 21° 02" W, 99.08 m. to corner 12;

thence N 32° 57" W, 112.66 m. to corner 13;

thence N 13° 00" E, 173.07 m. to corner 14;

thence S 55° 33" E, 38.75 m. to the point of beginning.

The Administration and management of the area covered by this reservation shall be jointly under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. For this purpose, a five (5) year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President by the Principal of Tabango Vocational School within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Forest Management Bureau copies hereof;

The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to the Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulation and to such other regulations that may hereafter be prescribed/promulgated.ℒαwρhi৷

In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) or more years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status as part and parcel of the forest land.
