[ Proclamation No. 779, August 21, 1991 ]

FURTHER EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE PHILIPPINE CANCER SOCIETY, INC., UP TO SEPTEMBER 4, 1992

WHEREAS, under the Proclamation No. 639, series of 1990, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., was last authorized to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign during the period from September 4, 1990 to September 4, 1991;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds to attain its laudable goal;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national educational, membership and fund campaign period of the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., up to September 4, 1992.

I hereby enjoin all government offices and financing institutions, as well as all school officials and teachers, to give their full support to the cause of the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc.

All donations, bequests, gifts received by the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Sections 94(a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (n) (2) (C) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
