DECLARING SEPTEMBER 1991 AS “WORLD QUIZ BEE MONTH”

WHEREAS, the country will host the Second World Quiz Bee from September 1 to 9, 1991 under theme “Quiz For World Peace” to emphasize the Childrens role in the achievement of world peace and international understanding;

WHEREAS, the World Quiz Bee dubbed as “The Summit of Young Geniuses” will be participated in by gifted children from various countries who will engage themselves in a friendly contest of wits and brains in the field of science, mathematics and world history and culture;

WHEREAS, there is need to focus public attention and awareness, especially among the youth, to the significance and importance of the said event;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare September 1991 as “World Quiz Bee Month”.

I call upon all residents, regardless of nationality, race, creed, as well as government and non-government agencies, offices and especially educational institutions to lend their full support to ensure the success of the Second World Quiz Bee.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
