MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 740, June 16, 1991 ] FURTHER AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 713 DATED APRIL 17, 1991, AS AMENDED, DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES IN BATANGAS, ZAMBALES AND TARLAC IN VIEW OF THE PRESENT ACTIVITIES OF THE TAAL VOLCANO AND MT. PINATUBO TO INCLUDE THEREIN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF MABALACAT, FLORIDABLANCA, PORAC AND MAGALANG OF PAMPANGA PROVINCE, ANGELES CITY AND OLONGAPO CITY WHEREAS, the Municipalities of Mabalacat, Floridablanca, Porac and Magalang of Pampanga province, Angeles City and Olongapo City must be declared as additional areas under a state of public calamity to facilitate the on-going rescue and relief efforts by both the local Disaster Coordinating Councils and the relief agencies due to the continuous volcanic eruption of Mt. Pinatubo.ℒαwρhi৷ NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby further amend Proclamation No. 713 dated April 17, 1991, as amended, declaring the existence of a state of public calamity in certain municipalities in the provinces of Batangas, Zambales and Tarlac in view of the present activities of the Taal Volcano and Mt. Pinatubo to include therein the Municipalities of Mabalacat, Floridablanca, Porac and Magalang of Pampanga province, Angeles City and Olongapo City.
