[ Proclamation No. 739, June 16, 1991 ]

DECLARING ADDITIONAL AREAS UNDER A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN VIEW OF THE CONTINUING AND THREATENING ERUPTIONS OF MT. PINATUBO.

WHEREAS, the National Disaster Coordinating Council recommends that the Municipalities of Cabangan, Castillejos, and San Felipe of Zambales Province and the Municipality of San Fernando of Pampanga Province, including Dinalupihan, Bataan, be also declared under a state of public calamity in view of the continuing and threatening eruptions of Mt. Pinatubo;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare that a state of public calamity exists in the municipalities of the provinces hereunder indicated:

PROVINCE MUNICIPALITY
Zambales – Cabangan
– Castillejos
– San Felipe
Pampanga – San Fernando
Bataan – Dinalupihan

All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabilitation work in accordance with existing operational plans and directives and orders issued in connection with calamities.ℒαwρhi৷
