[ Proclamation No. 684, January 31, 1991 ]

AUTHORIZING THE CHRISTIAN FOR CULION DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Christian for Culion Development Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock non-profit organization committed to help in the total community development of Culion and its neighboring islands and implement various programs in socio-economic, educational, medical and spiritual development projects;

WHEREAS, the Christian for Culion Development Foundation, Inc. project deserves the wholehearted support and cooperation of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Christian for Culion Development Foundation, Inc., to conduct a national educational and fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests and gifts received by the Christian for Culion Development Foundation, Inc. for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Sections 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (C) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
