DECLARING AS MT. KITANGLAD RANGE NATIONAL PARK A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF MANOLO FORTICH, SUMILAO, IMPASUGONG, MALAYBALAY, LANTAPAN, TALAKAG, BAUNGON AND LIBONA, PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON, ISLAND OF MINDANAO

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO,I, CORAZON C. AQUINO President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale, settlement, exploration and exploitation and other forms of disposition, subject to private rights if any there be, and set aside and declare as Mt. Kitanglad Range National Park, the parcel of public domain situated in the Municipalities of Manolo Fortich, Sumilao, Impasugong, Malaybalay, Lantapan, Talakag, Baungon and Libona, Province of Bukidnon, Island of Mindanao, more specifically described in the Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau Map N.P. No.  to wit:

Beginning at a corner marked “1” on the plan identical to Junction Culaman River and Malicongcong creek;

The said parcel of land shall remain under the executive control and supervision of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources.

Any person who shall collect and gather any forest product and wildlife from the said National Park and/or in any manner disturb or destroy the natural features and wildlife therein shall be punished in accordance with the penalties prescribed in Section 71 of PD 705 as amended by PD 1559.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
