DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 19 TO 25, 1990, AS “PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WEEK”
WHEREAS, the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-stock organization established and committed to promote industrial development through better and efficient management of the production system;
WHEREAS, PROMAP will hold its 1990 Production Management Convention on November 22-23, 1990, in Manila around the theme: “Managing Production in Highly Dynamic Times;”
WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executives play in the development of our economy;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 19 to 25, 1990, as “Production Management Week.”
