[ Proclamation No. 664, November 15, 1990 ]

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE PHILIPPINE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE FROM MAY 30, 1990 TO MAY 30, 1991

WHEREAS, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) was authorized under Proclamation No. 408, dated May 5, 1989, to conduct a national fund campaign from May 30, 1989 to May 30, 1990;

WHEREAS, there is a need for the POC to raise more funds in preparation for the XVI Southeast Asian Games in 1991;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign period of the Philippine Olympic Committee up to May 30, 1991.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, gifts, received by the Philippine Olympic Committee for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Section 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (C) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
