DECLARING THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 11 TO 17, 1990, AS “DEAF AWARENESS WEEK”

I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, in order to awaken the sympathy and understanding of the general public on the welfare of the deaf to enable them to find their rightful place in society, do hereby declare the period from November 11 to 17, 1990, as “Deaf Awareness Week” under the auspices of the Catholic Deaf Care and other involved organizations.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety.
