DECLARING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 1990, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN COTABATO CITY

WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 6734 otherwise known as the Organic Act for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), the provisional seat of government of the ARMM is in Cotabato City until such time as the Regional Legislative Assembly shall fix by law the permanent seat of government;

WHEREAS, the inauguration of the Autonomous Regional Government on November 6, 1990 would be a milestone in the history of Muslim Mindanao and it would be fitting to have the people not only of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao but also the people of Cotabato City join the festivities on this historic occasion;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, November 6, 1990, as a special day in the City of Cotabato. This special day shall not be a working day in the City of Cotabato.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
