DECLARING THURSDAY, AUGUST 30, 1990, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN

WHEREAS, Marcelo H. del Pilar, our hero and patriot who used the non de plume of “Plaridel” in his struggles in Spain to obtain reforms for the Philippines during the Spanish regime was born in Bulacan, Bulacan, on August 30, 1850;

WHEREAS, the people of Bulacan should be given full opportunity to celebrate Plaridels birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 27, Chapter 7, Book I, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, August 30, 1990, as a special day in the Province of Bulacan.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
