AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 412, DATED MAY 23, 1989

WHEREAS, there is a need to declare the May 23, 1989, declared the month of June 1989 as Information Technology Month;

WHEREAS, there is a need to declare the month of June of every year as Information Technology Month to increase public awareness on the vital role of Information Technology in the pursuit of national development:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 412, dated May 23, 1989, by declaring the month of June of every year as “Information Technology Month” under the auspices of the Information Technology Coordinating Council and the National Computer Center, with the cooperation of other organizations that are involved in information Technology development in the country.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of May in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety.
